Dubai Ferry, Al Ghubaiba Station If there’s one way to admire the epic proportions of Dubai’s landmarks, it’s from the water. The Dubai Ferry, which is run by the RTA, has four scheduled trips running every day between 9am and 9pm; there are round trips from Al Ghubaiba to Burj Al Arab, and from Dubai Marina Mall to Atlantis, The Palm. The trips offer an unrivalled opportunity to admire the coastline, which varies from the man-made commercial Port Rashid and the public beaches of Jumeriah to the glamorous hotel resorts in Dubai Marina. It’s also a slow-paced way to savour the sights of the iconic Burj Al Arab, the rich heritage of Dubai Creek, and the eighth wonder of the world: Palm Jumeirah. Located in Bur Dubai is the largest ferry station, Al Ghubaiba, where the sleek modern ferries pass by the traditional souks and historic sites lining the creek.
