While MS Dhoni has remained tight-lipped over his future, the Indian selectors are likely to take a bold decision in the next few days, according to a report in the Times of India.

The 38-year-old Dhoni, one of the most iconic Indian players in history, divided a cricket-crazy country with his sedate batting as India bowed out of the World Cup with a disappointing 18-run defeat in the semifinal to New Zealand.

Many believe Dhoni, the former India captain who guided the Men In Blue to 2007 World T20 Championships, 2011 World Cup and the 2013 ICC Champions Trophy victories, will end his glittering international career in the 2020 World T20 Championships in Australia.

But, according to Indian media reports, chief selector MSK Prasad could ask Dhoni to take a decision on his future.

If Dhoni doesn't take a decision, he could no longer be an automatic choice for the Indian team.

"I am certain that Dhoni is not going to picked for India again. It's high time he calls it a day," a BCCI official was quoted as saying by the Times of India.

So will Dhoni, who quit Test cricket in 2014, find his name in the Indian team that will travel to the West Indies next month for three T20Is, three ODIs and two Test matches?

The selectors will name the Indian squad for the Windies series on July 19.
