Organ transplantation is one of the great headway in modern medicine. But unfortunately, the requirement for organ donors is much greater than the number of people who actually donate. Anyone can be eligible for organ donation regardless of age, health, race or ethnicity.
Organs and tissues that can be transplanted consist of:

UAE passed a law for organ donation and tissue transplant in September 2016. Law was Federal Decree Law No. of 2016 on regulation of Human organs and tissue transplantation which came into effect in March 2017.According to Law the donation of organs can be from alive and deceased donors. This law also states that the sale of human organs and tissues and their advertisement for transplantation purposes are prohibited.
Bone marrow can be donated by minors also if it is transplanted in parents, siblings or children of the donor, for this written consent from the donor’s guardian is mandatory.
Person who wants to donate organs can record their decision about becoming an organ and tissue donor for transplantation after death on the Emirates Identity card or any other documents. They can also unconditionally drive back on their decision.
