All the trips will begin from the Jubail main bus station to all emirates of the country.
A total of over 6,000 trips will be provided by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Sharjah during Eid Al Adha holidays from August 20-25.

Abdulaziz Mohammed Al Jarwan, RTA director for transport affairs, said all the trips will begin from the Jubail main bus station to all emirates of the country.

"Up to 995 buses will be operated during Eid Al Adha holidays and the frequency of the buses have been reduced to five minutes from 30 minutes during peak hours. The number of buses have been increased to 103, and these will 1,284 trips every day," he said. An additional 70 employees will be working to meet the influx of passengers, he added.

"A bottle of cold water will be distributed to every passenger to beat the heat while waiting for their buses." Holders of Sayer pre-paid cards will enjoy a 25 per cent discount, said Al Jarwan. The Sharjah International Airport is also arranging more taxis.
