The Abu Dhabi Poetry Festival is set to host over 1,000 poets, showcasing various styles of poetry including Nabati and classical Arabic poetry. This event, hailed as the "largest celebration of Arab poetry," enjoys the patronage of Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council.

Organized by the Cultural Programmes and Heritage Festivals Committee — Abu Dhabi in collaboration with the Emirates Heritage Club, this four-day festival is scheduled to commence at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre. Staff Major General Pilot Faris Khalaf Al Mazrouei, Abu Dhabi Police Commander-in-Chief and Chairman of the Cultural Programmes and Heritage Festivals Committee — Abu Dhabi, emphasized Abu Dhabi's support for poetry, creativity, and talent, positioning the city as a nurturing environment for literary arts.

The festival will encompass various pavilions and platforms, including dedicated sections for poetry by the Founding Father, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and Emirati poetry. The Poetic Trail platform will trace the evolution of Arab poetry, and the event will showcase both classical and Nabati Arabic poetry styles.

The festival aims to provide poets, writers, and literary figures with a dynamic and immersive environment for networking and exploring diverse poetic forms. It will offer opportunities for emerging talents to connect with established poets, delve into research in poetry, and explore new genres. Additionally, the final auditions of the Million's Poet Show for Nabati vernacular poetry will take place, along with the Abu Dhabi Poetry Conference featuring sessions on critical and academic studies, as well as various cultural seminars and poetry evenings with poets from across the Arab world.

The festival will also include a book signing corner, where authors can engage with readers and sign their latest publications, as well as a special pavilion for children to discover the beauty and depth of poetry.
