It require your Emirates ID to register for any online services. There are 2 step by which you get verified, anyone who is willing to avail such Online Registration, has to go through the Process of Verification, in which you receive OTP on your Registered Mobile Number.
Sometime people change his/her mobile number due to any reason, the same need to be updated with Emirates ID. There is a process involved in this, the same is described below.
The Government Department of Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (ICA), they have issued a Link for changing the registered mobile numbers linked with the Emirates ID. Any Emirate ID holder can log in through this link.
One need to follow the below mentioned procedure
A)- One need to fill the details for the requisite to be done.
The person has to fill the information mentioned below
Origin of National – There is a Drop Down List, one needs to select his/her country of nationality.
Emirates ID Number – Everyone has been given a Unique ID Number, which is available on the ID Card provided by the UAE Government.
File Number – Just like Emirates ID Number, every individual has File Numnber, which consists of various information about the individual. This unique number is printed on the Residence Visa Document. When any Individual will will file any request, he/her has to fill the certain information like, Department, No. of Years in Service, Sequence.
I)- While filling the online Application or request, the “DEPARTMENT” option, you have to provide the code which is mentioned in your file number, its actually first 3 Numbers of your File Number, it may be started with 101,201,310 etc.
II)- In the category of “YEAR”, one need to fill the four digit number mentioned I the file number just after the 3 first digit, which you used to fill in Department Category. These 4 Digits are just after the first 3 digits. These 4 Digits are actually the year in which the First Visa was granted.
III)- In the category of “SERVICE”, one need to fill the 1st Digit of the last part of the file number.
IV)- The remaining Digits of the File Numbers, need to be filled in the category of ‘SEQUENCE”
V)- Name in English Language – One need to fill his/her name in this column, this is mandatory that the spelling must be same as mentioned in Emirates ID
VI)- Name in Arabic Language – This intelligent system will automatically fill this field in Arabic Transcript.
VII)- Passport Number – One has to be careful while filling this information. The passport number filled here shall be Double Checked before proceeding to next step.
VIII)- DOB - On clicking this option, a calendar menu will Pop up, one need to carefully select his/her date, month & year of birth.
IX)- Latest date of Arrival in UAE – One need to mention his/her date which is stamped on the passport, this confirms the Latest date of entry in the country.
X)- Mail ID – Please mention your Email ID in this option.
XI)- Please check your registered mobile number which was mentioned in the records of ICA.
XII)- Here in this option, you have to mention the New Mobile number which you need to get registered, you will receive an OTP, which you have to enter to confirm the Newly Entered Mobile Number.
XIII)- You have to mentioned your address in this column.
XIV)- You need to verify the Captcha to proceed further.
B. Application must be reviewed thoroughly
The system will show you all the details which you have filled during the entire process, check the entire details properly, if there is any mistake or any further changes, you can go back to previous columns and make the desired changes.
C. Fee Payment
The system will take you to the portal wherein you can make the payment for availing this service of change of Mobile Number. The government is presently charging Dh52.10 for this service. After making payment one can utilize all the e-services provided by the government to its nationals , and which may be require you to register using your Emirates ID.
