Expatriates seeking to sponsor five relatives on a residence visa in the UAE must earn at least Dh10,000 per month, according to a report on Wednesday.

An announcement has been made by Ali Mohammad Al Shamsi, chairman of the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security, regarding the conditions and controls related to Cabinet resolution 65, which was implemented on October 3, 2022. 

It is also necessary that the expat sponsors have adequate housing. For those who plan to sponsor six relatives, a salary of at least Dh15,000 is required. According to the report, the director-general will review applications for more than six relatives.
