Over 29.5 million tests have been conducted across the UAE to date as part of the country's massive screening programmes to combat the spread of Covid-19.
The total number of cases in UAE as on February 22 are 372,530 while total recoveries stand at 363,052. The death toll rises to 1,140.
Starting today, February 22, India will require all international arrivals to present negative PCR test results before travelling. The revised guidelines include children of all ages.
Meanwhile, doctors in the UAE have advised that getting tested for additional symptoms of Covid-19 could help identify more cases and expedite treatment.
Medics are now supporting a new study that identifies symptoms like sudden onset of hearing loss, tinnitus, acute diarrhoea or a throbbing headache as possibly indicative of Covid-19.
