Line Investments & Property, renowned for its expertise in shopping mall development, and Stars Cinema have inked a collaboration that promises to reshape the cinema experience in the UAE. By leveraging their respective strengths, they aim to open 50 cinemas, offering a diverse range of films catering to various linguistic preferences.

The strategic partnership with Stars Cinema is propelled by a shared vision to enhance the cinema landscape in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region. MA Ashraf Ali, the Executive Director of Lulu Group International, highlighted the significance of this collaboration, emphasizing that it presents an exceptional opportunity to deliver an expansive cinematic experience to the masses. The collaboration's ambitious plans are set to come to fruition by 2025, with over 50 cinemas slated to be operational across the UAE. This substantial expansion aims to create immersive spaces where audiences can revel in captivating narratives from around the world.

In a recent milestone, Line Investments & Property and Stars Cinema forged a deal to introduce 22 additional screens, augmenting the current 76 operated by Stars Cinema. This strategic move has positioned Stars Cinema as the second-largest cinema operator in the UAE based on screen count.

The agreement encompasses the opening of screens at prominent locations, enhancing accessibility and convenience for moviegoers. With 3 screens at Al Raha Mall, 9 screens at Al Wahda Mall, 6 screens at Al Foah Mall, and 4 screens at Barari Outlet Mall, audiences across these destinations can anticipate an enriched cinematic journey come September 2023.

The alliance is set to expand its footprint across UAE's iconic destinations. Notable venues like Dubai Silicon Oasis Mall, Sharjah Central Mall, and RAK Mall in Ras Al Khaimah are on the horizon for Stars Cinema. Ahmad Golchin, the founder and chairman of Phars Film & Stars Cinema, underlined the progression of work at Dubai Silicon Oasis, with future plans encompassing Sharjah Central and RAK Mall.
