A man was sentenced to six months in jail and Dh100,000 fine for blackmailing a man with photos of his wife, home and parking lot in Ajman.

In the details, the 44-year-old European suspect had tried to enter into a partnership with a manager at a restaurant. 

He refused because the European national appeared to have stolen money from the restaurant so he filed a lawsuit against him, as per Al Bayan report. 

Thereafter, the suspect sent photos to the manager on the social media service WhatsApp to blackmail him into agreeing to the partnership and to drop charges against him.
