Scammers attempt to defraud victims by asking for their bank details.
If you have received a call supposedly from Lulu Hypermarket asking for your personal and financial information, beware.

Lulu has issued an announcement in  today about few reported incidents of attempted fraud in the name of the brand.

According to the notification, the callers claim to call on behalf of Lulu and ask the victims for their bank account and bank card details with an intention of defrauding them.

This isn't the first time the scamsters have attempted to defraud people using Lulu's brand name.

It further said, "Lulu Group hereby declares that it never contacted and has not authorised anyone to contact its customers or common public for their banking, credit card or any similar details."

Providing a word of caution, the announcement further warns the public at large to exercise extreme caution while dealing with anyone asking for their bank card or other personal details and report the matter to the concerned authorities.

Lulu Group has already lodged an official complaint with the concerned police authorities against such fraudsters.
