Flydubai said on Wednesday that it will resume some of its regular flights from July 7, in conjunction with Dubai reopening its borders to foreign visitors.

The Dubai government announced this week that tourists will be able to enter the emirate from next month for the first time since the UAE started imposing border restrictions in March to stop the spread of the Corona virus.

The government-owned flydubai said in a statement that it would start operating flights to 24 destinations in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East.

The carrier plans to resume flights to 66 destinations over the summer, saying the flights will depend on countries opening their borders.

The sister company, Emirates Airlines, has previously resumed regular flights.
