What is the Aadhaar Card?

Identical to our Emirates ID in the UAE, the Aadhaar card is an identification card issued by the government of India. For Indian citizens, it is an identity card that contains biometric information. The documents needed for NRIs to apply for Aadhaar cards

In order to apply for an Aadhaar card from Dubai, NRIs must provide the following documents:

1. Provide proof of residence in India (e.g., PAN card, passport, voter's ID, ration card, electricity/gas/phone bill)

2. Identity proof (Driving license, voter's ID, passport, PAN card, etc.) 

3. Date of Birth Proof (Birth Certificate, School Leaving Certificate, PAN card, Passport etc.)

4. It is also necessary to fill out the Know Your Customer (KYC) form. You can do this while booking appointments and filling out the Aadhaar card online application. 

5. After submitting the relevant documentation and enrolling with the registry, you will receive your Aadhaar Card number. You will receive it at your address. It contains the 12-digit unique Aadhaar number that can be used as an address and identity proof for all government services in India.
