Step 1: Start the Process Online
To reschedule your Emirates ID biometric appointment, you have two options for getting started:
1. Scan the QR Code Given on the Registration Form:
Once you've completed your Emirates ID application online, you'll receive a registration form containing a Quick Response (QR) code. By scanning this code, you'll be directed to the ICP website where you can easily change your appointment date for the fingerprint scan.
2. Visit the ICP Website:
Alternatively, you can navigate directly to the ICP Smart Services website at smartservices.icp.gov.ae. From there, head to the 'Public Services' section and scroll down until you locate the 'Additional Services' category. Click on 'Search/Modify for Enrollment Appointment' and click on the 'Start Service' button to proceed.
Step 2: Provide Emirates ID Registration Information
To proceed, input your registered email address, ensuring it matches the one used during your Emirates ID application. Then, enter one of the following details:
• Eida request number (PRAN): Found at the top of your application form.
• Request number
• Reference number
Note that the last two numbers can be found under the PRAN number on your application form.
Step 3: Change the Date and Time for the Biometric Appointment
• To begin, click on the 'Search' button on the ICP website to verify your application and existing appointment date. Then, proceed to click on 'Edit'.
• Enter essential details like your passport number, date of birth, and nationality, followed by clicking 'Check'.
• From the drop-down menu, pick the emirate of your residence and select the enrollment center where your appointment is scheduled.
• Finally, choose a suitable date and time from the options provided.
After selecting your desired date, a green pop up confirmation message will appear, confirming the successful rescheduling of your appointment.
To obtain a printed copy of your updated Emirates ID registration form, click on the 'Print' icon. This form with the revised date and time will be necessary when you visit the center for your fingerprint scanning. Make sure to bring it along for a smooth process.
