The UAE requires all financial institutions to maintain valid identification documents for their customers. Your Emirates ID information will need to be updated on your bank account in accordance with UAE Central Bank KYC (Know Your Customer) regulations.

According to the Central Bank of the UAE, customers must update their Emirates ID details as soon as possible. A customer who fails to notify their bank of their new Emirates ID details will not be able to access banking services, including ATM withdrawals, debit or credit card transactions, and other financial transactions.

To continue to use your bank's services, if you recently renewed your Emirates ID, make sure you update that information.
