An employee's labour contract in the UAE is a very important document because it contains information about the establishment, sponsor, employee profession, basic and total salaries, allowances, annual leave, gratuity, and many other aspects that each party should know.
When you need to check your labour card, you can view it online; however, sometimes, it's easier to print a copy. You can simply follow the steps given below to download a copy of your UAE labour contract online.
How to get a copy of the UAE labour contract online:
To obtain a copy of a labour contract online, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE) has a well-integrated online procedure. For a copy of your employment contract, you can go to MOHRE's website or can download its mobile app.
Get Labour Contract through MOHRE Website:
1. Go to the MOHRE website.
2. Select Services from the drop-down menu.
3. Then click Job Offers and Contracts Services.
4. Scroll down to find My Contract Section.
5. You can search by transaction number or by personal details
You can search by transaction number
1. Enter your passport number and transaction number
2. In the CAPTCHA text box, type the letters and/or numbers as they appear
You can search by person details
1. You will need to enter your passport number
2. Enter your Nationality and Date of Birth
3. Verify the Captcha code
4. Click on View My Contract
5. You will be asked “Do you have a labor card? click on Yes.
6. The user must enter his/her labor card number, person code, birth date, and nationality on this page, then click the next button.
5. Your labor contract will be shown in PDF format to you in a new window if your information was correct, you can read and download it at any time.
Get Labour Contract through MOHRE Mobile Apps:
1. Click on the links below to download the MOHRE App.
2. Upon downloading the application, install it and sign up for a new account.
Registration Process:
3. Register yourself as an Employee as you can see in the given screenshot.
4. On the user registration form, you need to fill in your passport number, date of birth, and nationality.
5. Create a new user name, choose passwords, and enter your UAE mobile number along with your active email address.
6. You must answer one of the security questions when you login.
7. You must agree to the terms and conditions, read them, click I Agree, and click next.
8. Fill in your email address and UAE mobile number to receive an account activation link. Click on Send OTP to complete the process.
9. In the last step of registration, you will receive an activation link and activation code that will be sent to your email and mobile number. You need to check your email and mobile inbox for these links.
10. Start by logging in and security check: Now that you have completed above steps of registration and activation, you can browse the MOL website and login using your username and password. Submit your security question if asked.
Your dashboard will be displayed once you have logged in:
11. The next step is to check your employment contract. Here you will find the Employee photo, full name and Person code UAE.
How to check Labour contract:
To access an employee's profile, click on my dashboard. The user can see:
1. Personal details of the employee, including nationality, date of birth, and occupation.
2. Monthly WPS records (salaries submitted in bank/exchange) from employers.
3. The number, expiry date, and issue date of a labour card.
4. Copy of passport and passport number with issue and expiration dates.
5. The original UAE labour contract with all 7 pages.
Downloading a labour contract online:
Lastly, you can check and download your original labour contract with both parties' signatures by clicking on my dashboard, scroll down to download, you will get to see:
1. View Labor Card
2. View Passport
3. View Labour Contract
When you click on view labour contract, you will be redirected to a new page where you can easily read and download the signed contract with the company as shown below.
Things to consider for Registration:
1. To view employee details, an employer must have an e-signature card.
2. Government and free zone employees are not permitted to register for the MOHRE account.
3. Domestic workers cannot access MOHRE contracts.
4. Sponsors of domestic workers must provide an e-signature card, unified number, date of birth, and immigration file number in order to check the details of their domestic workers.
5. Registering on the Mohre app requires an active email and mobile number.
6. To check mol labor contract, you need a valid passport and visa.
Note: In order to use them in legal cases, you can easily download an electronic copy of your Labour Card and Contract.
