Ajman Fuel Tank Explosion Leaves 2 Dead And 3 Injured

Two people were killed and three injured when a fuel tank exploded in Ajman's Al Jurf industrial area. The deceased were Asians, as were the injured.
Police in Ajman were notified about the explosion at 11am on Sunday. Major-General Sheikh Sultan bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of the Ajman Police, said the explosion happened at a factory.
As workers were welding over one of the tanks, sparks flew inside, causing the explosion.
An explosion occurred due to non-compliance with safety regulations, according to the Ajman Police chief.
