Category B (College Certificate/Diploma Holder):

If Employee (worker) is holding college certificate (category 2 profession list) or attested diploma, along with that minimum salary to be written in offer letter and contract by the new boss (sponsor/employer) should be 7000 AED.

Level 2 or Category B Professions (College Degree/Certificate):

Category C (Secondary Education Certificate):

Expats with Secondary Education Certificate comes under the Category 3 Profession list, will require at least 5000 AED salary from the new organization. This salary ought to be written on Offer Letter and Employment Contract.

Article 4 of the Ministerial Order No. 1186 of 2010 states:

If the employee is starting his new position at the first, second or third professional levels after fulfilling the conditions for joining any of these levels according to the rules in force at the Ministry, and provided that his new wage is not less than Dh12,000 at the first professional level, Dh7,000 at the second professional level and Dh5,000 at the third professional level.

Category D (Non-skilled workers):

Category 4 or category 5 (Category D) professions are the unskilled workers/employees who need to complete the contract period or possibly a half year with the company to avoid a ban.

2. Ask for the settlement options available for you.
