
Dubai Police organized an awareness march designed to promote the integration of visually impaired individuals into society in advance of International White Cane Day, which is observed on October 15. The long white cane symbolizes independence and is a vital tool for safe and reliable navigation for those who are blind or visually impaired. The march took place at Dubai Mall, serving to educate the community on how to interact with and assist the blind in public spaces. It also aimed to promote values of tolerance, unity, and social cohesion.
