Emirates Announce Paid Islamic New Year Holiday For Private Sector

According to the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE), Friday, 21 July, 2023, will be a paid holiday for all employees of the private sector in the UAE to mark the Islamic New Year (1445H).
Federal Human Resources announced earlier that the same date would be a holiday for public sector workers.
It is part of the implementation of a Cabinet Resolution on public and private holidays in the UAE in 2023.
