Leading up to the 2024 board examinations, the pre-board examination dates for ICSE and ISC students in the UAE have been officially announced. The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) revealed the dates for both Class 10 and 12 students, with pre-board exams set to take place on January 2, 2024, in CISCE board schools across the UAE.

Dr. Sheela Menon, the principal of Ambassador School Dubai, stated, “During the winter break, students will have ample time to prepare for both the board and pre-board examinations. The pre-board examination will commence on January 2 and conclude before January 20, 2024, allowing sufficient time to provide feedback to the students.”

Emphasizing that the specific dates for conducting pre-board exams depend on individual schools, Dr. Menon mentioned that their school had already conducted the first pre-boards in November, and the students performed well.

The Class 10 board exams are scheduled to run from February 21 to March 28, while Class 12 board exams will take place from February 12 to April 3. School principals in the UAE expressed confidence in their students' preparedness, noting that they begin their exam preparations at the start of the academic year.

Nargish Khambaata, the principal and CEO of Gems Modern Academy, affirmed the students' proactive approach to exam preparation, stating, "There is a lot of support provided to the students, and the timetable doesn’t come as a surprise for them."

With the winter break approaching, educators believe that students will utilize the break to prepare for the exams. During this break, private school pupils in Dubai will be on a two-and-a-half-week break from December 11, 2023, until January 2, 2024. Despite the break, teachers remain accessible remotely to assist students with exam-related queries.
