Saudi Day

In celebration of the upcoming Saudi National Day, La Me  is set to host a one-of-a-kind firework display that will illuminate the sky set to one or two enchanting tunes. This will take place on Sunday at 8.30pm and, over the weekend, enjoy Saudi dance performances at the destination. Show Street at La Mer will also transform into a live supercar gallery showcasing some of Dubai's most fascinating luxury rides.

Saudi driver?

If you're from Saudi, a woman and you drive, there's a great offer on in Dubai this weekend. In honour of Saudi National Day and the historic lifting of the female driving ban earlier this year, B'dou Cafe at City Walk will be giving out complimentary meals to Saudi women drivers from Friday to Sunday. Moreover, everyone, no matter where you're from, will receive 20 per cent off their bill.

The landmark social change has seen over 2000 Saudi nationals finally get their licence and take to the streets, fulfilling a long desired dream in the process.  Now that's something to celebrate!
