According to Emirates News Agency (WAM), rescue teams have found the body of the second pilot who died in a helicopter crash off the coast of Umm Al Quwain last Thursday.

After the crash on the AeroGulf helicopter took off from Dubai's Al Maktoum International Airport during a night training flight, the body of the other pilot was found shortly after the crash, according to the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA), AlArabia English News reported.

Search operations were ongoing over the weekend for the missing pilot. Parts of the helicopter’s wreckage were recovered from the crash site.

Cooperating with other relevant authorities, the Air Accident Investigation Department at GCAA is still conducting investigations.

To express its condolences and sympathies to the families of the deceased pilots, the GCAA urged the public to obtain information only from official sources and refrain from spreading rumors.
