Dubai Taxi Company (DTC) has introduced a new service aimed at improving accessibility for people with disabilities. This initiative allows people of determination, particularly those with non-motor disabilities, to book regular taxis through the DTC App. It provides an alternative to wheelchair-accessible taxis for individuals who do not require them.
Users can also take advantage of the same 50 percent discount offered for the dedicated service for people with determination. This system is designed to be accessible to holders of the Sanad card for people of determination in Dubai, allowing them to use it efficiently and electronically.
Proactive and innovative services
The new service represents the company's commitment to continuously enhance its services and offer an innovative model of smart and proactive services, according to Abdullah Ibrahim Al Meer, Acting Chief Business Transformation Officer at Dubai Taxi Company. "We look forward to enhancing customer satisfaction, especially among people of determination," Al Meer said.
"DTC has always strived to align its services with the needs of people of determination, in compliance with the highest global standards, and we will continue to do so to provide them with top-notch transportation services and contribute significantly to Dubai's reputation as an inclusive city for people of determination," said him.
Al Meer noted that demand for DTC's vehicles designed for people of determination has grown. Therefore, this digital service is part of the company's efforts to expand and streamline transportation services for this group by leveraging modern and efficient methods. Residents, visitors, and tourists can now access regular taxi services conveniently and quickly, further enhancing their mobility.
