Obstructing the entrance, failing to provide adequate space for Civil Defence vehicles to maneuver between warehouses, or impeding access to these areas in a manner that disrupts their functionality constitutes a violation with a penalty of Dh50,000.

Abu Dhabi Civil Defence has issued a reminder to warehouse and store owners about UAE Rule Resolution No. 24 of 2012 and the associated fine for violating safety and preventive measures on their premises. Following the imposition of fines, offenders will receive directives to rectify the mistake within a specified timeframe. Non-compliance will result in the suspension of their licenses.

Motorists in the UAE who fail to yield to emergency, ambulance, and police vehicles will face a Dh3,000 fine. Offending drivers will also incur six traffic points, and their vehicles will be confiscated for 30 days.

Drivers obstructing authorities from regulating traffic and impeding rescue vehicles during emergencies, disasters, crises, rains, and in flooded valleys will be fined Dh1,000, along with four black points and a 60-day vehicle confiscation.

Authorities have previously emphasized to residents that the practice of not yielding to emergency vehicles can lead to delays in reaching accident or fire scenes.
