All private sector employees will receive a paid holiday in the UAE on Sunday, January 1, 2023, according to the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE).

UAE Cabinet approved the holiday for government and private sector employees in accordance with UAE law.

UAE residents will enjoy multiple long breaks next year, including a six-day break.
